The Internet has rapidly and radically transformed global dynamics as well as individual daily life. The induced changes in the way people think, behave, interact, and organize are increasingly noteworthy and influential. Even in traditional humanity disciplines, integration of cutting edge digital technology becomes a new global trend. Taking the history discipline as an example, this study summarizes such new progress in both regular teaching and advanced research that take advantage of the development of the Internet and Digital Humanities technology. It also calls for attention and effort for the betterment of Chinese historical study and teaching in the new era.?
