中华传统礼制虽存在着封建质核，但至今对中华民族的伟大复兴仍然有着不可替代的内在价值。礼的本质是人与人之间交往的规范或准则，进入文明社会后便具有道德这一内涵。就古代中国而言，伦理道德的体现便是遵循礼制，它早已融化在中国人的血液之中，内化为国人性格的重要组成部分。礼仪是中华先民尊崇的生活方式，礼义是中华先民追求的精神价值，礼中蕴含着中华先民的生命经验和生活智慧，概括起来便是一个“仁”字。中华传统礼制可以成为构建社会主义核心价值的资源，但必须经过现代性转换，即守望本土传统，又以现代性为标准审视、转换并汲取古典文化精义，使其在新的时代条件下重获新生。寻求中华传统礼制现代价值的基本态度，应当是立足于以多样性为根本特征的人类文化生态，从客观的历史事实和丰富的民间实践中，探寻其沉淀下来的伦理共识和道德品格，着眼现实，展望未来，用中华智慧来创建适合当今社会的礼仪价值的新体系。
The Internal Value of Tradtional Chinese Rituals and Its Modern Transformation

Although traditional Chinese rituals bear the fedual quality, it still has the internal value which is irreplaceable for the revival of Chinese nation. In essence, ritual is the norm or guideline of intercourse between people. When entering the civilized society, it has the connotation of morality. As far as ancient China is concerned, the embodiment of ethics is to follow the rules of rites. It has long been thawed in the Chinese blood and internalized as an important part of the character of the nation. Ritual is the way of life revered by Chinese ancestors. Etiquette is the spiritual value pursued by Chinese ancestors. The ritual contains the life experience and life wisdom of Chinese ancestors. In summary, it is “benevolence.” Traditional Chinese rituals can act as the resource to construct the core values of socialism. However, they must be transformed through modernity, that is, they should watch the local traditions and examine, transform and absorb the essence of classical culture based on the criteria of modernity so that they can be used under the conditions of the new age reborn. The basic attitude toward seeking the modern value of Chinese traditional rites should be based on the cultural ecology of human beings based on diversity as the basic characteristic. From objective historical facts and rich folk practices, we should explore the ethical consensus and moral character that has settled down, focus on reality and look to the future, use Chinese wisdom to create a new system suitable for the ritual value of today’s society.
