学术旨趣与地域学统

摘要:地方知识传统是学者们普遍关注的研究领域。研究地方学术史要注意从区域的学术旨趣、学统两个方面及两者关系着手,这样能够对区域学术形态的地域特色与普遍价值有更深入全面的了解。儒学是一个延续两千多年、并不断拓展的庞大学术思想体系,完全可以从不同学科(无论是西方学科分类还是中国传统学科分类)的知识来表述其丰富的内容。但是,如果解析儒学的学术旨趣,我们认为道、治、学三个要素是十分关键的。“学统”本来有“学术正统”与“学术传统”两种涵义,而区域学统的涵义则主要是“学术传统”的意义。那么,构成这种区域学统的传承一方面是指直接的学术师承关系,另一方面,也可以表现为某一区域中学术旨趣的传承关系,这两方面可以是统一的,也可以不一致。
On the Academic Purport and Regional Academic Lineage

Abstract: The regional intellectual tradition has always been an attracting research field. In the studies of the history of regional academics, the regional academic purport and lineage as well as the relation between them should be paid special attention to get more deep and comprehensive understanding of the local characteristics and universal value of regional academics. Confucianism is a massive academic and ideological system which has been continuing and developing for over two thousand years, and its rich content can be expressed with knowledge of different disciplines (in Western subject classification or traditional Chinese subject classification). And we consider the Tao, the statecraft, and the academics as the three key elements of the Confucian purport. “Academic lineage” originally has the two meanings of “academic orthodoxy” and “academic tradition”, and the meaning of “regional academic lineage” is mainly the latter. On the one hand, the inheritance of regional academic lineage refers to direct succession from masters to his disciples, and on the other hand, it can be expressed as the inheritance of academic purport within a region. Those two aspects can be unified or inconsistent.
