叶衍兰先生与叶恭绰先生祖孙二位合著之《清代学者象传》是一部未竟学术文献。该书第二集有象无传，业已过去半个多世纪。本文作者历时六年有余，完成《清代学者象传校补》。此次选取其中之《校补缘起》、《校补凡例》、《校勘举例》，以及山东籍学者赵执信、孔广林、丁以此补传三篇，联缀为文，先行问世，藉以窥见全书之大要。
